Riviera Seminar, June 6-8, 2025
Join us this year for our annual Riviera Seminar with Patrick Cassidy and special guests, Roberto Martucci, Dan Messisco and Richard Moon. Our theme is "Aikido as the Art of Freedom" and we will be exploring the realm of "Takemusu Aiki", the spontaneous creation of Aikido, the art of Jiyuwaza. We will be doing the seminar in Montreux, Switzerland.
Extra special day training on Monday, June 9th, 11 am to 3:30 pm on the theme of "Emptiness Expressing Fullness".
Training Schedule:
Friday: 7 - 9:30 pm
Saturday: 10:30 am - 1:30 pm, 3:30 - 6:30 pm
Sunday: 10:30 am - 2:30 pm
Monday (special event): 11 am - 3:30 pm

Come and join us for Patrick Cassidy's 5th visit to Arnhem. The theme for the seminar is "Embodying our Potential".
Riviera Aikido Technical Seminar with Exams, June 28, 2025
Join us for a review of technical skill and understanding in preparation for exams. We will be covering material in review for 1st Kyu and shodan and nidan examinations. All levels are welcome including teens. The seminar will be led by Patrick Cassidy, Durward Burrell, Mitchy Ogata and Antony Martinez.
Seminar schedule: Saturday 10 am - 1 pm, 2 - 5 pm
Exams at 5 pm with a bbq potluck party following.
Seminar fee: 80 chf for adults, 50 chf for youth
Combat Improv, July 26-27, 2025
Join us for step into unknown territory. Working with the principles of Aikido, we open to a freestyle relationship practice that allows for freedom, creativity and innovation from both partners. This is an exploration of an emerging interaction that remains undefined. Staying true to the intent of collaboration, partners are free to respond without restriction or rules. This is a path that leads to spontaneous response beyond pattern reaction. We refer to this practice as "Combat Improv". Join us to discover what this practice has to offer! All movers are welcome, no prior Aikido experience is necessary!

Join us for our annual Summer Intensive with training throughout the week, everyday, from morning weapons training, mediation, training in the afternoon and evening. Classes will be led by Patrick Cassidy, Dave Goldberg, Durward Burrell, Marco Rubatto, Antony Martinez, Mitchy Ogata, Heidrun Hoffman, Josef Jurgens, Salvatore Ligama, Andrea Merli, Sara Caruana, Ronnie Stevens and Rinske Gotink.
